Brown is not my color choice. But this brown cardi was sitting on the top of my sweater pile, i thought it was there for a reason.

but now i am looking at this outfit i was in, something was not right or not stylish about it. but this was what i wore to a lunch -planned,  and B's playdate- coincident.

B's bff got a new pair of *super cool* sneaker, so did he.  I did not get anything...from this trip.

Sammy's B Day at Davio's

All these years, little Sammy has grown to a half man.

hubby has not aged much. he looks pretty much same as his 10 years ago. I, on the other end, changed a lot on my face. I look at myself and see a middle age Chinese woman, who holds on to her purse wherever she goes. haha...

Wide leg Pants

Wide leg pants is one of the trends of the season. I like this trend, but only wish i have more junk in the trunk.

the green H scarf add a hint of Spring. and wool Burbery pants were from a few years ago - I am glad i can still fit into them. Booties are by Loeffler Randall. Chinese knot cashmere sweater is by Magaschoni, also an old item from my wardrobe.

we went out for a lunch, bought some toys for B, and two sets of new sheets for his bed.

No one had to cook tonight, we bought daddy take-out.

Lady's Day Out at Lotus

Every two month, we get together and enjoy some time without kids and husbands. We went to this nice Taiwan buffet place today. After 2 hours lunch, other ladies went to a new beauty salon owned by a friend's friend.  I had to drive home because my belly bothered me. I believe I had too much of that yummy red bean soup...

too much of good stuff can turn bad. indulging needs to be under control.

i had a pair of booties on when i was out. they went much better with the outfit.  i did not want to bring dirt to our bedroom so i put on a pair of clean shoes for the photo. The top is M Missoni with attached scarf. Ferragamo clutch.

A Raining Day Outfit

Yesterday I decided I need a garment rack - like those at the fashion show back stage. I will put together a outfit and hang them on this rack when my inspiration hits or when I see a cool outfit on fashion magazine.  it fits up to 15 outfits. So, next time, before i head out, i can just look at that rack and pick one of them!

It rained a lot today, we went out as we planned. I did not actually bring my new bag because of the rain. But the rest outfit seemed fine for a rainy day to run some errands and meet friend for lunch/chat.

Summarize:

Overall, it is perfectly shaped. under my detail-obsessed eyes, I got to say it is almost flawless... there is one single needle thread was not tight enough- i fixed it with my little helpers from my tool box very quickly. it seemed the bag went through a rough trip... both packaging box and Chanel box were quite beat up. but bag is fine - thank my SA for packing the bag well.

I am keeping it and will use it as often as I can.

Leather Skinny Cargo Pants

We are having a triple playdate today. After a big Chinese food buffet, big boys went to shooting range; girls checked out each other's new stuff; little boys plays this and that.

 I took a couple of pictures of my new pants.

Poncho in the Park

Spring played a peekaboo today. We did not miss it and enjoyed a sunny warm day at BC Park.  walking people, running kids, skaters on ice... a brand new playground in the park!

I gave some thoughts about what i would wear this morning when I having breakfast. and i remembered the TB wool poncho i bought around xmas...

Burberry Ballet Flat

It is pretty hard to keep fashion diary going for me lately. I have not worn any cool, fashionable outfit - this is the main reason. 

I bought a lot of make-up, skin care and beauty accessories this month. plus a pair of comfy mommy shoes. 

Today we went to the mall with a friend. I wore a modest outfit, red Hugo Boss Black label silk jersey top with chiffon ruffles,  houndstooth wool skirt, Wolford stocking...all the usual suspects.  I am pretty much molded into a specific style. I have hard time to get out of it unless i spend more time and effort to make some changes. is this one of signs of being older?

B had a wonderful playdate in his current girlfriend's house.

these are the ballet flat my friend got at Nordstrom today. As of myself?  I got a pair of cedar wood shoe trees for hubby. and some under garment for myself...
