Wool Poncho

B's look at School holiday pageant.

there were a few kids' parents forgot to dress their kids in "holiday best".  they did not look happy..

i finally got a wool cape!  i would not wear it with a dress like on the model though. how about wear it with skinny jeans and tall boots... 

the cape is reversible.  i love the idea. works well on this particular cape.  this side is pale camel plaid. very equestrian look.

Leopard Print Skirt

A lot of shopping to do during holiday season. Today, we went to the mall and bought some stuff for B.  as for myself, I saw a bag i like in LV store. later i got it from their website.

i really like how these shoes look on my feet.

being a practical person as i am,  i changed to a pair of comfy shoes before we went out.

B wanted to take a picture with Santa in the Mall, but the line was too long.... last year, we did it. but it turned out he had shoes on wrong feet in the picture. i should have double checked.  Until this day, he still wears shoes on wrong feet sometimes.  like today. he asked for his stroller as soon as he got off the car. i was surprised by that request because he stopped using stroller a year ago. no wonder! - he had shoes on wrong feet! 

got some xmas PJ and slippers from Hanna Anderson. i will take picture of B in the cozy outfit on xmas day.

Earthy Neutrals

 I like bold colors. but lately I am drawn to earthy neutral colors when i get dressed for the day.

i dressed very casual at a kid's birthday party today. you are not allowed to wear shoes in this pumped-up world. Being fashionable is not first priority at place like this.  my army green skinny cargo pants indicated my effort to be trendy there.  i looked awkward to have a picture of myself taken there -because every other adult there only took picture for kids or with kids...

diligent daddy drinking coffee non-stop. hahaha.. most of fathers did not even show up.  B's daddy has a lot of stuff to do actually, and a lot of hobbies, such as shooting at range on Saturday.  but he simply would not want to miss any thing any time being with his son, watching him have fun.

  

B's first picture with Santa this year. i think he likes the idea of Santa Claus, but he doesn't feel comfortable being close to him in person!  hahaha..

Dumpling Making

i am lucky that i have a husband who likes cooking. these days, B wants to eat dumplings all the time. the only way to feed him quality dumpling is to make them fresh at home. 

i got all the ingredient in Asian Market for our chef.

 voila - beautiful hand made dumplings!! and they taste delicious...

we took it easy today. running to the bank and grocery store... making dinner. playing xbox. 

i bought these booties at one of the sales during thanksgiving. Linlin got a pair of same booties in black. hope she likes them too.

we put up our xmas tree two days ago.  it lights up our holiday mood.  our room filled with nice pine tree smell.  the scent makes me happy.

Auto Show: Mini Tweed Dress

we went to a auto show with friend and her bf in boston this saturday. followed with a perfect seafood dinner at chart house...

Holiday Gathering at Minado

four couples with kids gathered in Minado restaurant today.  it was a lot of fun. good time always goes by fast.

after the lunch, we found ourselves in the mall. it was not as crowded as Black Friday, but it still took us 20 minutes to park.

four family was separated in the mall... it was very difficult to be there for long with kids. with a stroller and a rental kid's car, we managed spending 3 hours.

 at the last minute, i decided to wear my new fur vest.  the tall boots i had on were only 1.5' heels because i knew we would have a lot of walks to do today.  and my husband was not going to be with us.

my fashionista son  will be a lady's man when he grows up.  in this picture, he was carrying Linlin's LV bag and looked very natural with it! hahaha...

we asked him to hold her hand and have some pictures taken. he was shy at the first...

gosh, they looked so cute together... look at her very fashionable outfit.  inside that hot pink suede coat with fur scarf, she had a pink/purple leopard dress on.

  B was very happy with his outfit today. he asked me to take some pictures before we went out.

i am proud of B for the quality he possesses at such young age - compromise.   he gave up his red car so everyone was happy. 

Black Friday

we don't go to the malls or stores on Black Fridays. I did some online shopping as usual. Husband decided to get some stuff for his hobby after lunch. 

luckily, the store we went was not super packed. it was full but not unbearable crowded. something i noticed, while husband took his time shopping like a woman shop a new purse,  i did not see any other Asian in the store, and the huge store was full of people (White and Hispanic).  it is very unusual because you always see a lot of Asian in the stores and malls. btw,  we were at Bass Pro Shop.

like father like son.  it seems lil B likes shooting too.  his daddy is very good at it.

there will be no surprise lil B grows up loving all kinds of outdoors activities like his daddy.

a couple of hot Patriot cheer leaders were selling their bikini calendar in the store...
