Dangerous Shoes

i used to put away shoes that not comfortable to wear and forget about them. but these shoes i recently purchased from saks.com by M Micheal Kors burned on my brain forever.

they cut both of my feet when i was walking for about 20 minutes. but wait! the worse yet to come...i managed walk to Nordstrom and looked for shoes to replace these.  then i felt something sharp poking the bottom of my left foot!  you would never guessed what that was - two nails poked out from the middle of the left shoe! all of our eyeballs fell off when we saw that! i was angry... and hurt from both of my feet.

these poking nails proved the defectiveness of these poorly made shoes. i requested a return and refund.  but my wound will take at the least a week to heal. i can't wear regular shoes even sneakers, only flip flop shoes now! when i am in shower, it stings like crazy i could not help crying!!

how scary these wound look! it was like paying $$ to get hurt, i am a victim by these dangerous shoes.

  1. I am so sorry you had to go through this, Julia!

    Hope you feel better soon!

Did you speak to someone from customer service in regards to this?

  2. thanks Mona,
i feel better. the wounds are healing fast. i take a shower every two days now instead of a shower a day, to avoid the pain.

i did speak with a CS girl on the phone. i dont think she will report this matter to a manager or something. she just arranged a pick up. that was all.

i tried to post the matter on saks.com facebook, but it was filtered before published. :(

now i wish my blog was super popular, so when i post something like that, it will be heard widely. unfortunately, right now, i only have average 36 unique visitors, and 80 pageviews/clicks per day...

  3. I can't believe your comment got filtered! I think this also shows lack of good customer service.

If I were you, I would follow this up with the Michael Kors customer service. These shoes should not have passed quality control in the first place.

Glad to hear that your wounds are healing!

    Take good care of yourself!

  4. Julia -- You absolutely need to let Michael Kors know how poorly these shoes were made! If it happened to you, it can happen to someone else. Not sure if you are close to any actual retail store (Saks or Michael Kors), but I would've gone into the store personally to speak with a manager or something.

Ugh. Sorry you had to go through this. I'm sure it has inconvenienced you in many ways. Believe me when I say I won't be buying MK shoes!!!

  5. HI Mona,
we just have to be careful with shoes. i will not try to save when it comes to buying shoes from now on.

i saw MK on Regis and Kelly show yesterday. he looked tired. i have some his designer line shoes and they are pretty good. his MMK and KMK line are made in china.

i am pretty much recovered. thank you for your sweet comment and support. it means a lot to me - my friend.

  6. Hi Betsy,
    long time no see.
MK will know about his poorly made products soon enough, trust me. people like me will stop buying stuff from the line, and more and more people will know about the quality and stop buying. slowly, business is going away...once reputation is ruined, it is sooner or later.

thank you for concerning me regarding this matter. you are always so considerate. :)

have a nice weekend with family! xoxo-j
